Green Ladies is the first social eco enterprise operated by consignment model in Hong Kong. Established in 2008, Green Ladies has been promoting eco-friendly habits and middle-aged ladies employment. Through collection of high quality fashion and accessories, we promote secondhand clothing for sustainable use of resources.
Green shopping experience
In 2011, Green Ladies changed to operate by consignment model, encouraging ladies to become our consignors and let the unworn fashion reborn. Shops act as eco-platforms to highlight the beauty within secondhand fashion and change the general public’s perception towards it.

- Trendy fashion (preferably within 3 years)
- Seasonal clothing (generally spring and summer items are collected from February, while fall and winter items are collected from September)
- Ladies wear: blouses, pants, dresses, coats, 90% new shoes , bags, scarfs, and accessories

PROCEDURE
流程
STEP 1: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT &VISIT OUR SHOPS IN PERSON
第一步: 預約及親臨店舖
Consignors shall make an appointment through the membership portal and visit our shop along with the fashion items that match with the collection category for consignment procedures. Staff will screen the fashion according to the style, quality and condition. Items not falling into the collection category will be returned to the consignors.
寄賣者須登入會員平台預約寄賣時段，並攜同符合列明收衣類別的時裝前往分店進行寄賣程序。店員會按款式、質素、新舊程度即時進行篩選。不符合收集類別的時裝會即時交還寄賣者。
STEP 2: CONSIGN FOR PROFIT / DONATION
第二步: 選擇回饋 / 捐贈
Consignment contract will be signed for the first time. Consignors can take a maximum 30% rebate of the selling price or donate all the rebate to support the operation of our social enterprises. Please be reminded that the rebate percentage cannot be changed once confirmed. Selling price shall be set by us based on the purchasing power of customers, the style, quality and condition.
首次寄賣需要填寫寄賣合約。寄賣者可選擇最多30%回饋，或直接捐贈作為支持本社企的營運，但注意回饋百分比一經選定不得更改。寄賣衣飾的售價由本社企制訂，主要因應顧客購買力為依歸，並根據時裝的款式、質素、新舊程度而定。
STEP 3: CONSIGN FOR 2 MONTHS
第三步: 兩個月寄賣期
Starting from the date of consignment (the date shown on the consignment receipt), the consigned items will be randomly displayed for a 2 months consignment period. The unsold items after 2 months will be donated to us automatically.
寄賣者須同意由寄賣日起計兩個月 (以寄賣收據上的日子計算)，貨品將在店內間歇性陳列；若在寄賣日起計兩個月貨品未能售出，該件時裝將自動歸本社企擁有。
STEP 4: TRACK REBATE WITH REGULAR REPORT
第四步: 結算及銷售報告
Sales report will be issued through online platform on the 15 th of the following month; the income will be transferred to the registered account by auto-pay on or before the 21 st of the following month.
貨品一經賣出，我們會於翌月15號在網上平台發出銷售報表，寄賣回饋會於翌月21號或之前以自動轉賬形式支付。

We collect resalable high quality ladies’ fashion and accessories, criteria please refer to TIPS FOR FASHION COLLECTION.
本店只收取具重售價值的女士服裝及飾物，具體準則請參考時裝收集提示。

Green Ladies has the right to set selling price based on the purchasing power of customers, the style, quality and condition, completeness and past sales experience. Consignor cannot object to the selling price set.
Green Ladies擁有訂價權利，售價主要因應市場及顧客的購買力為依歸，並根據衣物的款式、質素、新舊程度、衣物完整度及過往的銷售情況而定。寄賣者不能對定價提出異議。

Due to the limited space of the shops, products will be displayed randomly within the 2-month consignment period. If the consigned item cannot be sold within 2 months, the ownership of the product will automatically be passed to Green Ladies, and Consignors cannot get back that particular item. Green Ladies has the right to discount relative items, donate them to other projects for charity purpose or sell to community recyclers after 2 months. Under the above listed circumstances, no rebate will be available to Consignors.
由於店舖面積所限，由寄賣日起計兩個月，貨品將間歇性陳列；若寄賣日起計兩個月貨品未能售出，該件衣物將自動歸Green Ladies所擁有，寄賣者不能取回衣物。兩個月後，Green Ladies有權把有關衣物減價促銷，捐贈給其他服務單位或轉賣予回收商，在此情況下，寄賣者便不能從中收取任何回報。

Green Ladies has the right to select and decide whether the fashion can be consigned with reference to market demand and storage. Staff have the right to deny receiving items that deemed unfit. Upon receiving the clothing, consignors cannot get back the items under any circumstances.
Green Ladies對所收取衣物擁有選擇及決定權，職員有權拒絕接收與要求不符的衣物，並會因應市場的需求及倉存情況來決定是否收取衣物。所有衣物一經接收，在任何情況下寄賣者都不能取回衣物。

Green Ladies provides a platform for recycling fashion, but does not assess or promise the genuineness of the items sold. St. James’ Settlement, Green Ladies and our staff will not take any legal responsibility for the accuracy of the information, the applicability, quality and reliability of the items. If consignors use this platform, consignors agree not to claim any financial loss or litigation on personal harm.
本二手店提供平台循環再用時裝，不會對售賣物品之真偽加以審核或作出任何承諾或保證；聖雅各福群會、Green Ladies及其員工對此一概不會承擔任何法律責任。聖雅各福群會、Green Ladies及其員工並不會對售賣物品的資料準確性，對其特定用途之適用性、品質及可靠性質上承擔任何法律責任。寄賣者使用Green Ladies平台，即表示寄賣者承允不會向聖雅各福群會、Green Ladies及其員工作出任何有關財物損失，甚至人身傷害的訴訟或索償。

Green Ladies is not liable for any loss of item during consignment period due to robbery and damage (including artificial and natural disaster) etc.

ESTATE COLLECTION DAY 屋苑回收日
To facilitate different consignors, we organize collection day at different residential estates. Counters will be set up in the club houses. Fashion is collected on site or consignment service is arranged for the residents. Secondhand accessories items and upcycling products are also available for sale. Green information will be provided to encourage residents to get into a habit of fashion reuse.
We welcome property management companies and residential estates for cooperation.為方便市民，我們定期與屋苑舉辦回收日，在屋苑會所設立攤位，即場收集住戶的服飾或為住戶辦理寄賣手續。攤位亦會出售二手首飾及升級再造產品，讓住戶親身接觸及了解更多時裝重用的環保資訊，建立資源重用好習慣。

- If you have clothing which you no longer wear, donate or consign at Green Ladies, or give them to your friends or relatives.
- Visit Green Ladies for ideas to dress fashionably in secondhand clothes.
- Broken and worn out outfit could be used for other purposes, for instance, sleep wear or cleaning cloth. Creative use of accessories on the clothing, e.g. DIY the buttons as other accessories or for other purposes.
- 把質素佳而不再合身的二手衣飾捐贈或於Green Ladies寄賣，轉贈親友也是不錯的選擇。
- 支持資源重用，實行舊衣潮著，到Green Ladies尋寶、選購「新衣」，必會有意外收獲。

- One Eco-point will be credited to a member’s account for each item purchased, except plastic bag charge and gift vouchers.
- Eco-points will be credited to the member’s account immediately after purchase. Members can check their points balance on the purchase receipt or through the online platform.
- Unless expressly otherwise in writing by Green Ladies & Green Little, member exculsive offers may not be used in conjunction with any other promotions or discounts.
- Points, offers and benefits of the Membership Programme are personal to an individual member and cannot be transferred and/or assigned to any other person.
- We shall not be liable for any loss of points or damage suffered as a result of a technical defect or error that prevents us from retrieving information relating to your point balance from our computer systems.
- Green Ladies & Green Little reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue an item or to substitute a similar item at any time without notice prior to that item being redeemed. Who determines the selling price of the consigned fashion? When will I know the selling price of the consigned fashion?
寄賣服飾的售價由誰決定？何時會知道寄賣服飾的定價？
Green Ladies is responsible for price setting according to the purchasing power of the market and customers towards secondhand fashion; the style, quality and condition will also be taken into account. For items sold successfully, sales report will be provided to consignor on or before the 15<sup>th</sup> of the following month. Details of the transaction such as the selling price, number of items sold and the rebate amount etc. will be available for reference.
售價由Green Ladies制訂，主要因應市場及顧客對二手時裝的購買力為依歸，並根據其款式、質素、新舊程度而定。如衣物成功售出，Green Ladies會於下一月份15日或之前發出銷售報表。屆時寄賣者會詳細見到賣出的售價、件數及寄賣者的回饋等。

Can I choose different rebate percentage each time?
我可以每次選擇所取的利潤嗎？
No. When filling in the consignment contract, consignors need to think carefully for the rebate percentage that they would like to take in the future. Constrained by the administration procedures and the system, the rebate percentage cannot be changed once selected. Please consider carefully when filling in the information.
不可以。在填寫寄賣合約時，每位寄賣者須選擇寄賣所取的回饋百分比，因行政程序及系統的限制，回饋比例不可作出變更，敬希寄賣者在填寫時謹慎考慮清楚。

If the consigned item cannot be sold, can I take it back?
如寄賣的服飾未能賣出，我可以拿回我的衣物嗎？
Starting from the date of consignment (the date shown on the receipt), the consigned items will be randomly displayed for a 2-month consignment period. The unsold items after 2 months will be donated to us automatically. In that case, consignors cannot get it back. Green Ladies reserves the right to donate unsold items to other service units or discount the items after consignment period. Under these circumstances, consignors cannot get back any rebate.
寄賣者須同意由寄賣日起計兩個月 (以收據上的日子計算)，貨品將在店內間歇性陳列；若在寄賣日起計兩個月貨品未能售出，該件時裝將自動歸本社企擁有。寄賣者不能取回衣物。Green Ladies有權把有關衣物捐贈給其他服務單位或減價促銷等，在此情況下，寄賣者便不能從中收取任何回報。

Which shop should I go to consign? How will the consigned item be displayed?
我應去哪一間店舖寄賣？寄賣的時裝會分別在不同的分店陳列嗎？
Consignment service is available at all of our shops. Consignors can choose the shop most convenient to them. In the first month of consignment, the item will be displayed at the shop where it was consigned. Afterwards, it might be sent to other shops for display so as to raise the chance of reuse.
每間店舖均設有寄賣服務，寄賣者可以選擇在營業時間內到最便利自己的店舖進行寄賣。在寄賣首一個月，服飾會在進行寄賣程序的店舖陳列，如一個月後未能賣出，我們有可能把服飾送到其他店舖陳列，提高重用的機會。

Does Green Ladies collect menswear and kids wear? What else do you collect?
Green Ladies收集男裝及童裝嗎？還會收集甚麼？
We do not collect menswear at this moment.
We are devoted to promoting reuse culture in Hong Kong. In order to have the message delivered and seeded in our next generation, we expand the market to collect kids wear in March of 2016. We also want to create an eco-shopping platform for both parents and children. For details, please refer to Green Little Website.
As Green Ladies does not print any shopping bags for our brand, we welcome customers to donate shopping bags to our shops.

I want to donate or consign a lot of fashion items, what should I do?
我有大量衣物想捐贈或寄賣，可以怎樣做？
If you are a representative of a company or corporation, please email the number of fashion items, styles and photos to [email protected]. Our staff will follow up with you shortly.
If you are an individual donor or consignor, door-to-door pick up is unavailable at this moment. We suggest splitting the items into a few batches and visit our shops for consignment. You could also make reference to the previous question about “Consignment Express”. Our staff can do a pre-screening for your items.

Is there any hygiene concern for the second hand clothes?
二手衣物會有衛生問題嗎？
We will advise consignors to clean their fashion beforehand; all fashion will be sterilized twice with steamer iron before display at shop; and we strongly advise customers to clear the fashion thoroughly after purchased.
我們建議寄賣者在寄賣前先行把衣物清洗乾淨；陳列前，職員亦會把每件衣物以蒸氣熨壓消毒至少兩次；我們亦建議客人把從本店購得的二手衣物清洗後才穿著。

Fashion items have certain weight and there is no Green Ladies branch nearby. Is it a must for me to take all the items to the shop for screening?

Which types of fashion will be sold out more easily?
哪種時裝較容易賣出?
Appealing types of fashion include trendy clothing and smart casual. According to our sales experience, clothing in black or clothing items of business dress code will be difficult for selling.
銷情較理想的包括時款的服飾及襯衣，我們的顧客較愛選購俗稱的「去街衫」；根據經驗，黑色的時裝、或我們俗稱的「返工衫」，都是較難賣出的。
